Uzbekistan will receive from China $73.5 million for school facilities

Almaty. August 22. Silkroadnews - China will allocate to Uzbekistan grant funds totaling $73.5 million to equip schools, reports UzTAG.
Chinese government funds will focus on equipping 1 300 classes by multimedia equipment to enhance learning in such subjects as "informatics" and "foreign languages".
The project is included in the program of technical cooperation of Uzbekistan with partner countries and international financial institutions in the 2014-2016 years.
Earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan in 2014-2016's plans to attract grant aid to education, training and retraining in the amount of $225.6 million.
These funds will be used for purchase of educational equipment and technology, says the agency.
