Uzbekistan will start operating cargo flights to Iran in late April

Almaty. April 20. Silkroadnews – As of April 29, 2016, “Uzbekistan Airways” National Air Company (NAC) will start regular cargo flights from Navoi to Tehran, IrTAG reports.

“Flights to the international airport named after Imam Khomeini will be carried out on cargo aircraft Boeing-767-300BCF of the national airline twice a week on Monday and Friday,” the statement says.

According to airline estimations, the opening of flights to Tehran will become an important addition to the existing freight network of Navoi International Airport, where the cargo flights are being now carried out to Frankfurt, Vienna, Milan, Zaragoza, Tel Aviv, Dubai, Delhi, Mumbai and Seoul.
