Vet control won’t be lifted on Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan border by August 1

Almaty. July 29. Silkroadnews- The vet control on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will not be lifted by August 1, reports the KyrTAG news agency.
“The EEU commission said the work has started, the veterinary system has been created. But they say time is needed. The vet control won’t be lifted by August 1 at the border of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. They planned to do it by August 1. But the labs are not ready yet,” said Sooronbay Zheenbekov, Prime Minister.
Kalysbek Zhumakanov, director of state inspection of veterinary and phyto-sanitary security, said EEU experts constantly control these issues.
“Since Kyrgyzstan became the EEU members, the experts have arrived 5 times. Each time they said we have no vet control system. They gave this estimation. Last time 17 EEU experts came including from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus. They spent a week there. We showed the all the regions,” he said.
