Visit of the Chinese President to the UK was discussed at the Sino-British strategic dialogue
Almaty. August 14. Silkroadnews - In Beijing on 13 August was held a Sino-British strategic dialogue, reported Xinhua news agency.
The dialogue was co-chaired by State Councilor Yang Jiechi and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain, Philip Hammond.
A great importance was attached to the upcoming October visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to the UK. Head of European Studies at the Institute of International Studies of China Cui Huntszyan expressed confidence that with the approaching date of the visit, high-ranking diplomatic personnel of the parties in details will discuss related questions and details.
In recent years there has been a favorable trend in the cooperation between China and Britain in the trade, economic, humanitarian and other spheres.
In 2014, the volume of merchandise trade of China and Britain exceeded $80 billion, the increase reached 15.3%. UK overtook the Netherlands and became the second largest trading partner of China in the EU.
