Weightlifting federation of Central Asia has been established in Tashkent

Almaty. April 28. Silkroadnews – The founding meeting of the Weightlifting Federation of Central Asia took place in Tashkent as a part of the Asian Weightlifting Championship held.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the Asian Weightlifting Federation and the Federations of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.

The First Vice President of the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan Shakhrullo Makhmudov was elected as the President of the Regional Federation, Omar Mustafin (Kazakhstan) – as the General Secretary, Omurzhan Moldosov (Kyrgyzstan), Bashim Agabayev (Turkmenistan) and Sharif Davlatov (Tajikistan) – as the Vice-Presidents.

The headquarter of the Central Asian Weightlifting Federation will be in Tashkent.
