Astana. November 20. Silkroadnews -  WHO International Society of Transfusion head for Eastern Europe and CIS Eugene Zhiburt advises to use Kazakhstan's experience in treating Ebola, reports KazTAG.
"What is the treatment for Ebola? The only method recommended by the WHO - a transfusion of plasma of recovered people. But people who live in this region, suffer not only from Ebola, but also from many other viral infections. Therefore, we can recommend the WHO to use experience of Kazakhs, who in the blood transfusion center and other centers inactivate all possible pathogens in plasma and platelets, which shimmer in the clinics of Kazakhstan", - quotes agency E.Zhiburt at a briefing in Astana on Thursday.
He noted that Kazakhstan has all chances to become the first post-Soviet state, which may hold complete inactivation of pathogens platelets.
"We know the brilliant experience of Kazakh colleagues, first introduced in the post-two-stage screening surveys of donors. Kazakhstan has all chances to become the first in the region and throughout the post-Soviet state, which goes to the complete inactivation of pathogens platelet", - added E.Zhiburt.
