Xi Jinping assigned to optimize the agrarian system to develop agricultural sector

Almaty. April 29. Silkroadnews – During the interview on the agrarian reform in Xiaogang village, Fengyang, Anhui Province, the Chinese president Xi Jinping urged to make efforts to boost the agrarian reform for the development of the agricultural sector, Xinhua news agency reports.

“To follow and optimize the agricultural enterprise system, defend the collective ownership of agricultural land, comply with the system of management of family farmers in the agricultural sector and maintain the stability of the land contract system – these are the key to boost the agrarian reform,” he said.

The Chinese leader also noted that the development of modern agriculture, growth of farmers’ revenues and building a new socialist countryside are the three tasks to ensure the agricultural development.

He called the officials at all the levels to make greater efforts to assist farmers in addressing the existing problems, ensure the growth of their revenues and the countryside stability.
