Xi Jinping told Trump about the importance of compliance with UN resolutions on the Korean Peninsula

Almaty. April 25. Silkroadnews – China opposes the solution of the Korean Peninsula issue to be carried out in violation of the UN Security Council resolutions, Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping said during his telephone call with US President Donald Trump, TASS wrote.  

“The Chinese side is strongly opposed any actions in violation of the resolutions of the UN Security Council. We also hope that all the parties involved will exercise restraint and avoid aggravating the situation on the Korean Peninsula”, the Chinese leader told the head of the White House.

Xi Jinping also noted, “only if all sides bear the responsibilities they’re supposed to bear and come together, can the nuclear issue on the peninsula be resolved as quickly as possible”.

TASS reminded, on April 16, 2017, another attempted missile launch by North Korea failed, the US military officials reported: the missile exploded almost immediately after it was launched. An attempt of a new launch was held coincided with the celebration of the 105th anniversary of the birth of the first President of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Kim Il-Sung (1912-1994) on Saturday. A large-scale military parade was held as a part of celebration in Pyongyang, during which, as noted, North Korea firstly displayed its sea-based ballistic missile.

According to the Chinese Central television, the DPRK is currently getting ready for its sixth nuclear test.
